Still, while we ponder what to call him, Leon can get busy pondering the Living Questions...
Living... For The City
I'm right on the border of Essex and East London. I see myself living in the same region, but in the opposite direction of London. I love the countryside, I love the seclusion and peace. That's what I'm all about. I want to be close enough to enjoy London, I love London, but then be able to go home to the tranquility. I love the travel with the job though, I love seeing new places, I love scenery, absorbing environments and stuff. When we drive up to Scotland I'm just going "wow" all the time. And there's this road, the Snake Pass, across the Peak District. That's amazing. That's like not being in England. It's like you're going through Canada and Alaska... Although, you know, if I'm asked where I want to be in five years time, I usually say "living in the South of France in a villa with a dog, just chilling".
Living... For The Weekend
An ideal weekend would start off - oh, I'm going to sound really sad – with a few whiskies. I'm not a heavy drinker but I love whisky, and bourbon, so I'd have a few with a couple of chums I hang out with and get on the PS3. Then Saturday, I'd like to relax and take a drive. I used to restore classic cars, and I still have one, an AC Cobra replica, so I'd take that out, way out, in the countryside. And hopefully not break down. Then Sunday... a bit of Formula One, catch a Grand Prix on TV, and do some reading. It would just be this real relaxing weekend. I'm not really big on the fame thing. There have been one or two instances when I've been recognised popping down to Tesco where people have shouted out and it's quite surreal. When people beep at me, I forget why. I'm looking at them, thinking "but I don't know you...!" So I'm "Living For The Switch Off Weekend..."
Living... On A Prayer
Growing up, my dad wasn't very religious at all but he's a bit like a born again Christian. Actually, I've been told not to call them religious, they prefer spiritual. I'm a believer, not to a point where I'm bible-bashing, but it has done wonders for them and it's had this knock-on effect, so I'm more conscious.
The Living... Years
School was cool, school was alright. My happiest days were probably family trips abroad. We used to go to St Lucia quite a lot, they were golden. And to the South of France. Those were great.
Living... In A Box
The best present I've ever given was to my other half, and it was an experience: she'd never been to Paris, so I took her there and did the whole Eiffel Tower thing. The best I've received... it was a flying lesson from her. When you're a kid and you've got that ambition, it's always "I want to be a fireman," "I want to be a policeman", "I want to be a pilot", and I was the pilot kid. I've always raved on about it to my missus, and she got me this flying lesson. Since then I've tried to keep it going. So yeah, one day I'll be parking my Cobra next to my Jumbo...
The Living... Daylights
Favourite Bond film is Goldfinger. That's a classic. And the theme... I know a lot of people would go for Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever but I'm going for Licence To Kill. That was Gladys. Gladys Knight. The film wasn't all that but her vocal delivery... Extremely underrated.
Living... TV
At the moment, the thing that's driving me crazy is Lost. It's like torture. I keep thinking I've got to stop watching it, it's killing me, and I end up watching it again and again. I like to cook so I'd pop down to Tesco and get some salmon, a little Teryaki sauce, and just fry that up, it's quick. Some nice sticky rice, a salad... Lost on the TV. And if that's not on... I've not got into Big Brother this time but I usually do, so I'd probably stick on a good film. Although Lost you have to do from the boxed-set. That seven day wait, that's a killer. You have to knock it out in one go.
Leon's new single, Bring It On is released on 30 June. His album, Bent Out Of Shape, is released on 7 July.
